Unscrew battery cover on the back of the unit. Insert 6 'C size batteries (not included) into battery compartment as indicated. Replace battery cover. Turn the frequency dial to the desired animal you want to repel. Different frequencies will repel different animals. Some frequencies will repel more than one animal. Turn the unit "ON". NOTE:
If installing the unit outdoors, it is recommended to place the unit at least 3 feet above the ground for optimum range. Make sure that the speaker is facing the area you want covered. Caution:
All batteries used must be of the same type. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (cadmium) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove the batteries and store in cool or dry place when it is not in use. To avoid explosion or leakage, do not dispose the batteries in fire or attempt to recharge. Specifications:
