User instructions: SJ5000, SJ5000WIFI, SJ5000+.

Inserting micro SD Card

Please choose branded micro SD card and format it on computer before use. No-branded cards are not guaranteed to work properly.

Installing and removing batteries

1. Press on battery cover tab to open it.
2. Install battery into camera as indicated by +/- symbols and direction of arrows marked on battery until it's in place.
3. Battery charge indicator: please refer to pictures.
4. Remove Battery: open cover to take battery out.

Charging
1. Charging can be done by connecting the camera to a computer; using a power adaptor or car charger
2. SJ5000 cameras can record video while charging (select Vehicle-mounted Mode in Menu).
3. Charging of SJ5000 cameras can be done even when it's powered off.

Switching camera on and off

Press and hold power switch for 3 to 5 seconds to turn it on / off.

Car camera

1. Go to the menu and select car mode to record.
2. Camera will switch on automatically when the car starts, in case it is connected to the car charger.

Video recording mode

Switch to recording mode and there will be an icon in the upper left corner of the screen, Press «OK» to start recording and the icon in the upper left corner will start to flash. Press «OK» again if you want to stop and the icon will disappear.

Photo shooting mode

Switch the camera on and press «Mode» to select «Photo shooting Mode». An icon will appear on the upper left corner of the screen and the camera indicating that photo shooting mode is set. Press «OK» to take photos.

File storage and media reproduction

1. Use a USB cable or card reader to transfer the files from the camera to the computer.
2. Switch the camera on and press mode to select Play Mode to reproduce the files.

It is not possible to transfer files from PC to camera neither memory card.

WIFI conection: SJ5000 wifi y SJ5000+

This product can be connected to a mobile phone (Android or iOS system). Follow the steps below:
1. Install the APP SJCAM Zone for SJ5000 Wifi or SJ5000PLUS for SJ5000 Plus on your mobile phone or tablet. Use Google Play for Android devices or App store for Apple devices.
2. After powering on, press WIFI key on the camera, and the WIFI icon will be displayed on the screen.
3. Enable WIFI on your mobile device, search WIFI SJ5000 / SJ5000+ and connect it.The initial password is 12345678.
4. When WIFI connected, WIFI Connection Ready displays on the screen.
5. Videos and images will be directly display in the device.

Password change: switch on and enter WIFI setting menu, the password can be set as per your requirement.

Specifications could be subject to modification due to upgrading or updating. Please regard the actual product as the standard form.

Safety Guidelines

1. It is a high-precision product, do not drop it or crash it.
2. Do not expose the camera to strong magnetic objects, such as magnets or electrical motors. Avoid exposing the product to strong radio waves. Strong magnetic fields may cause the products breakdown or images /audio damage.
3. Never leave the products exposed to high temperatures and direct sunlight.
4. Please choose branded microSD card. No-branded cards are not guaranteed to work properly.
5. Do not place microSD card near strong magnetic objects to avoid data loss.
6. In case of overheating, smoke, or unpleasant smell in the process of charging, unplug your device immediately to prevent fire hazard.
7. While charging, keep the product out of children's reach. Power cable may cause children accidental suffocation or electric shock.
8. Keep the device in cool, dry and dust-free places.
